Dermapen® Micro Needling

What Does It Do?

The Dermapen was created to tighten, rejuvenate and lift the skin. To achieve this goal, the Dermapen is capable of combating a wide array of skin issues:

How Does It Work?

The Dermapen plugs into the wall on one end, and the other end holds a needle tip which contains 12 disposable microscopic needles. After each treatment, the needle tip is replaced to ensure that there is no danger of cross-contamination. Once the needle tip is in place and the Dermapen is plugged in, the treatment can begin! The needles will begin to rapidly spin at a rate of about 110 revolutions per second. When the needles reach the skin, they create miniscule punctures in the surface of the skin. This is seen by the body as a wound, despite the very minor pain, and the immune system responds by creating more collagen in the skin. To contribute to even healthier skin, the needles carry different forms of topical nutrients that optimize the body’s production of collagen. Because of the spinning design of the needles, they can simply glide across the skin, rather than causing tears in the skin. With very short sessions, skin can look much better simply by increasing the amount of natural collagen that it produces!

Customizable Treatments

The Dermapen is also able to adjust to various depths, depending on the issue at hand. For example, fine lines may require a different depth than something like acne scars. This ensures that each treatment is unique to the skin that is being healed, and makes sure that the results are as fantastic as they could possibly be!
