Laser Liposuction vs WAL

Body-Jet® water assisted liposuction is an excellent alternative to laser lipo (smart-lipo). Since the procedure uses high pressure streams of water to gently dislodge fat, it is less invasive and causes less damage to the surrounding tissues.

Liposuction Recovery

Because the Body-Jet® is gentler than the traditional lipo alternatives, our patients have shown quicker recovery times with less swelling and bruising. Typically, after 2 weeks you can resume exercise. Everyone heals differently but in most cases, you can expect swelling to last 1 to 3 months.

Liposuction Side Effects

Due to a small pulsating spray being used, less force is needed allowing the physician more control. There is however still a risk damaging blood vessels and the surrounding tissues. This gentle procedure allows for detailed contouring and minimal bruising.

Although the Body-Jet® Liposuction procedure is designed to leave you with smoother skin, there is a risk of rippling. It is designed to use less force and flush fluid out of the body as fast as it enters. Liposuction Cost

Although Lipo prices will vary depending on the size of the area to be treated, you can typically expect to pay in the region of $3,000 to $5,000 per area treated. This may vary with geographic area being seen and overall BMI. Treating more than one area at a time may help to reduce the overall cost.
